The Safety Harbor Public Library Foundation will host a fundraiser on Saturday, September 19, in honor of Nolan’s Pub, its former owner and a Nolan’s regular.
The event is from 1-4 p.m. at Aspirations Winery in Clearwater and will feature homages from both eras of Nolan’s Pub, including team trivia and live music from Zachariah James. Pub Founder Craig Davide and some former Nolan’s bartenders will be there, and we’ll toast former owner Dean Harkey and regular Todd Swenson, who we lost too soon. Swenson is the father of Foundation Board Member Caitlin Swenson.
Tickets are $20 and include a souvenir koozie and free food donated by The Brinehouse. Guests are encouraged to bring donations of Jolly Green Giant canned food to be donated to the Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center.
